If You Need Help

Please, if you find yourself in need of help, ask! Please do not leave animals behind if you need to move. Don't turn them loose if you can't keep them. Don't give up if they need medical you can not afford. There are agencies that help. If we can't help there are others who can. There's always someone somewhere.

FIRST

  • Check wit local agencies and rescues. Ask them for a list of resources as well.
  • Search online for rescue groups. There are specifc rescues for nearly every type of animal.
  • Let us know and if we can't assist you we will help you look for assistance. We have many resources at hand.

BEFORE TRNING AN ANIMAL OVER

  • Be sure it's a NO KILL facility. Including if they fill up do they outsource to another facility that IS a KILL facility
  • Give as much information about the animal as possible to ensure proper placement. ie health, age, vaccinations, temperment, etc
  • Make sure the facility can handle taking the animal. Meaning, please do not just leave an animal without checking/notifying the facility first. This creates an extreme burden if they can not afford to take one in.

VERY IMPORTANT THING TO KEEP IN MINE

Your pet may be very loving and loyal in your home and environment BUT if you drop them off somewhere with no information and they appear feral due to fear, anxiety and seperation they will be labeled as and dealt with as a feral. I've seen this happen many times and it's to sad to describe. Please be responsible and give your pet the best chance at being placed in a home as possible.
